SCOTT HOLSTEIN
The Nashville Scene is just now getting to know this "Original Artist" but he has been a Veteran "Behind the Scenes" musician for years! Holstein made his debut young in life playing Bluegrass Music along side the Legends of the genre.A true"Road Scholar"!! He is a multi-talented artist with a slew of new material.Original songs he has penned over the years prove he not only sings them but you know he has lived them too!
Perhaps it comes from the Coal Mining town he grew up in his native West Virginia or maybe from the years of road life- but a Balladeer for hard-life songs and tear-jerkers he is! The lyrical compositions seem to be a roadmap of his life -and along with an incredible talent to "Play" rounds out a true "Stylist!"
Nashville's days of these kind of Artists' are few and far between...
..It is a refreshing idea that there are still "Real" Country Singers and Songwriters!!
In the modern world of technology more and more Artist are becoming"Independent". There is a
New Revolutionary way of connecting with the "Fans". More and more acts are developing their own "Label" and freedom to express their music without limitations seems to be the Artists' ideal.Although "Radio and Television Programmers" are controlled by the-Corporate Industries- it is easier today to connect with the true fans through Social Media and Satellite Radio Programs geared toward the " Independent Artist".
Update- In dealing with some Major/Independent "Record Labels" it has become inevitable to incorporate-rest assured- in the Artists' creative direction! (Stay Tuned).

The first Country Demo "Old Heartache New Year" penned by Holstein was to be a short run song for the Holidays.After the song hit the public a "buzz" spread among the fans and is
still being downloaded daily and bids have been rendered by some of Country's "Major Label Artists!" Holstein signed an Independent Distrubution Contract and now "Old Heartache New Year" will be available on Jukeboxes and Music Outlets throughout the world- and more Country/Bluegrass/Americana/Blues "Originals" are in the shoot to be released soon!

A New "Original" Bluegrass Album is scheduled to be Released by end of year! All songs written by Holstein in that haunting "Montani Semper Liberi"" feel. Featuring some of Nashville's Best!....
